Alhamdolillah our first batch of 26 students successfully
graduated from MITI (Memon Industrial Technical Institute)
on Saturday 7th April 2018 several members of Printing and
Packaging sector were present there to appreciate this
program and team.
Dr. S.M. Minhajuddin appreciate students and Trainers for
completing this course successfully and all students were
placed for 3 Months on job training in various printing

The latest materials science innovations from Avery Dennison will be revealed at FESPA 2018 (May 15-18, Berlin), at a stand that features both Avery Dennison and Mactac brands.

European Label Forum 2018 adds young managers’ challenge to programme
A Young Managers Club (YMC) workshop has been added to the programme of this year’s FINAT European Label Forum (ELF). The 4th edition of the annual ELF takes place in Dublin, from 6-8 June.
The workshop comes 10 years after the YMC was established in 2008, at the occasion of FINAT’s Golden Jubilee congress in Paris, to meet an increasing need for up-and-coming managers in small to medium-sized, and often family-run, enterprises.

5th drupa Global Trends Report reflects positive mood in the printing industry
Printers and suppliers from the majority of market sectors reported growing confidence in their companies’ economic performance. The opportunity was taken this year to track patterns of performance over the years. Packaging remains the most buoyant market and there has been a steady improvement in confidence over the five years amongst Commercial printers. Functional printers were following a similar positive story but there was a puzzling increase in uncertainty this year for both printers and suppliers to this market. Publishing printers probably face the most challenging strategic changes and there is a decline in assurance this year, despite the reducing threat from E-books.

Paperworld China 2018 new date and new venue confirmed for November
Paperworld China, Asia’s leading trade fair dedicated to the stationery and office supplies industries, has confirmed its 2018 show dates. The upcoming edition is set to take place from 22 – 24 November at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) as it continues to serve as a strong and ever-improving sourcing platform within the industry. Around 550 exhibitors are expected to occupy approximately 24,680 sqm of exhibition space with products ranging from stationery, office supplies to hobby and craft products.
South Africa’s Silverline Print purchases 8-color Edale FL3
Based in Gauteng, South Africa, label convertor Silverline Print has invested in an Edale FL3 flexo press, as it seeks to upgrade its printing technology to keep up with industry trends.
The 8-color, 350mm-wide flexo press is equipped with UV drying, a peel and reveal module, turnbar, lamination and delam/relam. The FL3 is due to be installed at Silverline Print in the upcoming months.

Kodak appoints Print Systems president
John O’Grady has been named as the new president of the Print Systems division at Eastman Kodak.
Previously, he was president of the Consumer and Film division and former general manager of worldwide sales for Print Systems. O’Grady has replaced Brad Kruchten who is retiring after 36 years with Kodak.
Jeff Clarke, CEO at Kodak, said: ‘Kruchten has been an important part of our company for many years, and I thank him for his tremendous commitment to Kodak and outstanding accomplishments. O’Grady is very well positioned to lead the Print Systems division. His industry experience is unparalleled.

Probo invests in four Durst P5 systems
Durst, a manufacturer of advanced digital printing and production technologies, has announced first sales successes for the recently launched P5 Series. Dutch print and fulfilment provider Probo is investing in four Durst P5 printing systems.
The installations at the production site in Dokkum will take place over the next few weeks and Probo will be presenting its portfolio expansion to its customers at an open house event on June 15.
Konica Minolta Launches Latest Generation of AccurioPress
Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc. introduced the latest generation AccurioPress color digital press, copier and scanner: the C3080 Series – which includes the C3080, C3080P and C3070. The AccurioPrint C3070L is lso part of the launch.
The predecessors - AccurioPress C2070, C2060 and AccurioPrint C2060L - are no longer available. The new C3080 delivers enhanced productivity, expanded print services and brilliant quality, the company said. It provides two-sided banner printing and high productivity with speeds up to 80 ppm. The AccurioPress C3080 Series features finishing options such as full-bleed, saddle-stitched books and perfect bound books.
Large-format Rapida for Barem Ambalaj
Recep Tasyanar, owner of the print company Barem Ambalaj with headquarters in Tire/Izmir, visited Koenig & Bauer to check how work is progressing on his new Rapida 164. The six-colour double-coater press with triple-length extended delivery is scheduled to arrive in Gaziantep. It is to be installed in the new production plant there, and will join a five-colour Rapida 142 with inline coater and 630 mm raised foundations which is already up and running at the location. Following commissioning of the new press, the official inauguration of the new production plant is planned for November.
€ 14 million investment in state-of-the-art technology from Heidelberg
With a total price of more than € 14 million, the Elcograf print shop in Verona has ordered two Suprasetter CtP platesetters, various postpress systems and four Speedmaster XL series printing presses with the innovative Push to Stop concept. All the systems will be installed by September 2018. The four new printing presses replace eight existing machines.
